Final Score

The Bronco League is for 11 and 12 year olds, but allows for advanced ten year old players to play up. Ten year old players must attend a spring player evaluation session to be eligible to play up. The base path is set at 70 feet with the pitcher’s mound set at 48 feet. At this level, for the first time, players are allowed to lead off and pitchers’ balks are recorded. Games are played under the official rules of Major League Baseball.

After attending a spring player evaluation session, players are placed on teams via a draft system. Once drafted, the player stays on that team until they move up to the Pony League. For example, a ten year old is drafted onto the Bronco Bandits will remain on the Bandits until he moves up to the PONY League. Players stay with their team to give them, their team and families a sense of consistency.

The season is capped off with an End of Season Tournament as well as an All Star game where teams are formed by the top players from each team. Players are eligible to qualify to play on a team that could advance to the PONY League World Series.
